We are bringing the home-cooked family dinner back!

Get Cooking is a non-profit organization with a team of award-winning chefs who each month take the challenge to teach a recipe designed to feed a family of four for $20.  Their typical upscale restaurant cuisine is translated into simple, budget-friendly dishes that are equally appetizing.  These chefs are full of knowledge and money saving tips to teach low-income families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.

How do we do it?

We work with a group of Florida farmers to assemble meal kits for our chefs’ recipes.  These kits, delivered to the homes of our low income families just hours before each class, are packed with wholesome and fresh ingredients.  Families have all that they need to cook with our chefs virtually, in their own kitchens with their own appliances and cooking tools.

It’s hands-on learning ending with a home-cooked meal to enjoy together as a family!

Our classes are fully interactive and taught online. Families are encouraged to be comfortable in their home kitchens- a place we want them to cook time and time again.
